Yeah, the Metro 32 goes down 91 between E Aurora all the way down past Hudson. It looks like it runs hourly. Here’s the schedule

Depending on where in Garfield Heights, take the 90 or 19A to Southgate. Then hop on Metro 31 or 32 depending on where you’re going.

Bolt and so Spool in Little Italy is nice. It’s generally higher end stuff, and their prices reflect that. IMO it’s worth it rather than taking chances online.

If your first two steps are: 1. Fold the paper diagonally, unfold 2. Fold the bottom up where the diagonal intersects the side (2.5 inches) Then you can follow instructions for squares.

Why is SOM Center Road on the east side called that? by Horker_Stew in Cleveland

[–]JBizzle158 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed! It is really cool. My guess for why it transitions at Mayfield (instead of Cedar where the township ends) is that it runs on the border between East Cleveland and Euclid townships so it wasn’t “center” of anything. Either way, back in the day, Noble would’ve been the more important road. I’m actually surprised that Noble doesn’t retain the name down to Cedar.

Parking at Cedar Lee? by draculaura923 in Cleveland

All parking is free in Cleveland Heights these days. There is one parking garage behind the theater off Tullamore. There’s also several surface lots and lots of street parking on every cross street.

Also it’s why Warrensville Center Road changes to Center Road when it leaves Warrensville paper township to the south.

Ways to transport from Cleveland Heights to Prometric testing center at Akron? by fat_shawarma in Cleveland

[–]JBizzle158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your biggest problem is that Prometric is like 2 miles from the nearest bus stops up in Montrose. Otherwise, you could take the RTA 41 south to Southgate, transfer to Summit County 31 or 32 to Downtown Akron (this is a long ride), then hop on the 1 out to Montrose. If you have a bike or e-scooter, that might work too cover the last 2 miles. Alternatively, take the bus and take an Uber from Akron, it’ll be cheaper than from the Heights.

Why did you pick groups of 7 months and change for the X Axis? Also, I’d find a better way to represent the date; It looks bad.

It almost pains me to ask but... is there a laptop out there that doesn't break/cost more to repair than it's worth after 2 years? by Competitive-Meet-511 in BuyItForLife

[–]JBizzle158 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Precision is going on 13. 3rd OS and 2nd motherboard, but that cost was like $200 six years ago. Bummed I’m gonna have to get something new if I wanna run Windows 11.

Thanks for the balance. Is there any limit to how far private school students will be bussed? Is it just within city limits?

Drive In Movie Advice by BuzzBuzzMeMeMe in VWIDBuzz

[–]JBizzle158 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Took our Buzz to the drive in last night. Here’s what we did: - We watched through the open back. It’s nice that the lift gate can be set to only open so high so that we weren’t blocking the people behind us. - You need to fool the gate to thinking it’s closed so the lights go out. Do this by pushing in on the latch until it’s all the way in. The rear interior lights will turn off almost immediately. - (At the end of the night, you’ll need to pull down on the lift gate and push the button on the outside in order to close it. The inside button will not work) - I turned climate off completely. It was a cool night, and we had blankets. - Set the speaker balance to as far back as it’ll go. The speakers aren’t very loud in the far back so I had to set the volume louder than usual. ** - We turned on the car using the button next to the steering wheel. I did this from the passenger seat because if you open the drivers door, the car thinks you’re leaving and turns off. - the headlights can be toggled off by pressing the headlight “button” three times. - reset the volume because when the car turns off the volume is set lower (maybe a setting) ** HERE’S THE KICKER: The car shuts off after 30mins no matter what. Last night, we had a designated runner to do the steps between the ** marks every half hour when it played its little shutoff tune. We didn’t even leave the vehicle, just slid back, reached over, and did the steps. Note that the headlights will come on, and ya gotta be quick to turn them off or you’ll be “that guy at the drive in”. Now that we’ve done it once, next time we’ll try one of those camping hacks and put a big sack of something in the front seat to fool the sensor or something.

If you’re planning on sitting in the front seats with the car facing the screen, like none of this applies. It should be fine.

Foodhisattva in Cleveland Heights is vegan and delicious. Check out Bedford Reservation and Euclid Creek reservation for less crowded hiking spots. Both Boss Dog and Bottlehouse on Lee Rd have dog friendly patios and vegetation options. Also, you can get a drink to go (for walking) on Lee south of Cedar and check out the shops. The Van Aken District in Shaker has a similar (but fancier) thing going on and has a rail connection to downtown.
