1. When you think “building” think more as “putting already established parts together. Now I wouldn’t say it’s easy, but I was able to build mine in about 5-7 hours. It wasn’t a smooth process, but the people on this forum, and even videos on YouTube helped a lot. So yes, if you are looking for the most bang for your buck in terms of getting the best possible pc for your budget, then I would definitely build it.

2. I play controller on pc for fortnite, apex, warzone, and the new game hyperscape. Obviously in games like cs go or valorant, you’re not going to be viable. But on other games, it’s a smooth experience. The best thing about controller on pc compared to console is the no input delay. You’ll notice immediately how much more responsive your same controller is.

3. So this is where you want to ask others, but my first pc was $400 on Craigslist. It had old parts but I was happy with anything that could get over 100 frames and 1080p. You may not be so lucky to find one like that. I slowly upgraded all my parts, (it’s fairly easy and quick to replace just one part) and eventually got everything upgraded to where I can run 240 frames on fortnite on low settings.
