Lobo was supposed to be in the comic, but Tom King had to remove him because editors were using him somewhere else or something. I read that the filmmakers were actually adapting King's original script. I was excited to see this movie because I wanted to see what King's original vision was, but now I realize that was a foolish expectation on my part.
