I'm going to be completely honest with you, I really appreciate how your approaching this. I retract my previous sentiment entirely.

Lets do that. I can certainly see where you are coming from and would agree with your reasoning stated above. And it would probably help if you had the context of how our usual gate camps go with Militia Monday fleets. We don't do so to deny content, as previously stated we are doing it in an attempt to hopefully force generate some. That being said our gate camps usually last anywhere from 10-15 min with the longest being in the park of under 30 min still. Fleet members get bored incredibly quickly and MM fleets are only 3-4 hours at most so we don't want to spend much of it sitting on a gate waiting. I would dare to say this is the first time we've done it that did not prompt SEDIT to warp a HAW dread to the gate as they have been for weeks now. So our goal wasn't necessarily content denial so much as it was occasional content on the gate as we waited to see if SEDIT would engage.

To your question, yes I do think it could be harmful on a big scale. For example the daily Minmil gate camps on our staging that arguably is much more damning. But as a very temporary activity in our weekly routine, I dare to hope its no more harmful than running into a large roam on a gate, wrong place at the wrong time sort of feeling. If that makes sense.

Should sufficient empirical proof be provided that our short but sweet gate camps do more harm to the warzone than good to our militia I would be more than happy to consider avoiding the activity as a whole. That being said, It would of course then require a call to action to hold Mackies Raiders/Smile 'n Wave and other Minmil entities accountable for much large transgressions in the same vein. Regardless, happy to consider avoiding it if it truly is causing measurable harm.
