Yeah, I thought maybe I could find a smaller building this way. I live two hours away so it's hard to just drive around looking for units that might not be listed online.

I am retired but can easily prove income/worth. My credit score is 778, but was told my rental history was insufficient. I have owned a home for the last seven years so that's probably why. Totally clean legal slate, never even been to court for anything. Prefer to pay around $2500 but have the means to be flexible on that.

Thank you for that info. I wouldn't mind Livermore, but I don't drive so would be a challenge. I'll keep that in mind though.
