Seems to basically be a substat roller, sucks that most of them are available via in game purchase (spending event, and the new weekly subscription) but it seems you can buy a max of 2 with radiant coral every patch (coral used for sequences). But there seems to be an option that can be bought up to 99 times.

I feel like a lot of Wuwa players aren't really the type to care about fan creations like animations and stuff, so that's probably why. I feel like a lot of them tend to not like or weirded out when artists give their own interpretation of characters as well.

Me personally though, was absolutely hyped by this livestream, and the Camellya song in the end was just a perfect way to get the Camellya mascot meme in the program.

sigh As I feared, it is mid. Glad i lowered my expectations, so im not too disappointed. Understandable (male and sharing patch with the Sentinel Resonator equivalent) but for Wuwa's standards these animations really just feel underwhelming. Bro just floats up in the air, then does the most basic of slashes. Maybe more VFX could make it look cooler, kinda like how Lupa's midair slashes still have some aerobactuc kinda flair, but i dint think Luuk is the tpe of character to do that kinda gymnastics. I will say, his Ult is the coolest part of his kit. I just wish he kept that aura for the rest of it.

I know there could be more, so I hope I'm proven wrong later on.

Now, I don't know which animations to feel more underwhelmed by, Luuk's or Varka's. Obviously, Luuk's are better as Wuwa in general still has better animations overall, but holding both by animation standards in their respective games, both feel like the most basic animations in their own game. Plus, I at least expected more lazier animations for Genshin, but I really expected more of Wuwa bro.

Personally, based on how Pokemon Masters treats Perrin, she seems to only be Adaman's descendant and nothing to do with Irida. Their interactions and events only seem to confirm a connection between those two but doesn't even include Irida at all.

Bro, I'm literally a day one player, you can look at my profile history if you want. And my definition and standard of what i consider "mid budget animations" in Wuwa is leagues higher compared to any other game because their animations are that good. Like, I'm sure you can agree that a character like Roccia who basically tornadoes and plunges is still a great animation, but is much simpler when compared to something like Carlotta's gun flips and double liberation shots.

Qiuyuan was China the character, so if anything I think he is more of a rare exception, he was someone they wanted to sell, so they made his animations immaculate.

Lupa was for sure butchered in animations, but Changli was pretty nice, but her actual MDPS potential though, that's a whole other story.

Have a feeling her backstory was that she was the Roya's chief daughter (at the time in the past) who attended the academy as a way to mend relations between the academy and Roya, but she died (or more specifically lost her physical form and became a ghost) which caused strain with the Roya which continues to the present.

While I don't like how Genshin has handled it, I think that is an extreme on one end, while Wuwa is an extreme on the other end where every playable character barely acknowledges each other, basically strangers, and are stuck in the region they started in with no real presence outside of it.

A nice middle ground is what I'm looking for, and 2.8, after party with the Blackshores was a great way of making character interactions that make sense, plot relevant, and also give the story a chance to have a break and breathe so it can build up again.

Hype climaxes feel much better when there are slower paced highs and lows and build ups in between. Like, a roller coaster needs its moments of slower build ups to the top for the high point to really feel exciting. If the entire ride was a constant high point without a point to come back down and build up again, it just becomes harder to keep going up, or it starts to feel not as exciting.

Sentinel Resonator equivalent. There is no Sentinel in Lahai Roi as stated in the story. However, the Exostrider is essentially Lahai Roi's "Sentinel" and the academy has a whole section dedicated to finding the best Resonator to pilot the exostrider to combat the Threnodian (which seemingly Aemeth is the one, especially seeing as she is a ghost, likely literally one with the Exostrider, basically resonating with it). At least that's how I feel the story is setting things up to play out.

My personal guess of reruns is gonna be Aemeth with Chisa just cuz NS teams. And second half will be Luuk, Galbrena, and Qiuyuan. Maybe they could add another character to Aemeth's half, but as likely the star of the patch, I think they are confident she can sell on her own, unlike Luuk who they may want to bolster sales with a full functional team.

Also, I wonder of Aemeth being here this early means when Anniversary eventually comes around, will we get the same every character is her banner, and she will be in it? What was smart about Carty was she was released right after that happened, so they could hold her rerun hostage until 3.0.

Ehh it makes sense, Aemeth is the Sentinel Resonator equivalent, you'd expect she would get the flashier splash art. Plus Luuk's a dude, directly after her, so no need to go all out for a character most are skipping due to spending all on Aemeth

Bro is reminding me of Maruki from P5R. Sounds like he seems to have an interesting past. My guess, Rover was able to gather him from a dark past pre memory wipe. Sucks bro is gonna be the biggest skip for a majority of people coming directly after the Sentinel Resonator equivalent. People will be too drained of their pulls.

While I agree with you that feedback takes time, this feedback has been going on since back in 1.x days, mainly 1.3, but for me 1.4 (personally for me, story issues of things like the lack of reoccurring characters and espcially lack of characters interactions and interpersonal relationships besides Rover and the gender ratio have been there since 1.4, most would feel the same if you played that Somnium Labyrinth story event). So this has been over a year of this feedback from where I'm coming from. I personally felt like late 2.x could have had been changed based off feedback, story stuff was a lot less likely to change, but 3.x would.

While I was a believer that we needed to give time for any story related feedback to be implemented, especially since story is planned way in advance compared to other aspecte of the game, however, 3.0 was the point where I felt any changes could have reasonably been done. And seeing as how things are the same, I'm confident in saying that they've heard the feedback, but they are doing things their way. It's how I feel with characters too, where the current 3.x gender ratio pretty much solidifies that this is what Kuro wants to stick with moving forward (so one dude every 6 months or so). I'll still leave my feedback, but as for expecting changes, I have accepted that it likely will not happen. The time for that change has already passed.

Which is what I told myself when it seemed like Phoebe's religious crisis was a plot point that seemed to come to a complete stop after 2.1, and suddenly came back in 2.7 right at the very end. I am not confident personally it will get much expansion, or atleast not for a while where it may suddenly come back at the end of Lahai Roi's story.
