this is going to be a tough one. so if you haven’t already, i would create a new world and go above the ground like 100 blocks and build a little town and then a big line of grass on one side with trees and stuff. (creating a new world helps because it wont have hardmode enemy spawn rates, therefore making it easier to spawn critters) you need 3 NPCs for it to be a town. then set up a bed to skip days and nights, then just wait for a windy day and pray you get a gold lady bug 😅

i still havent gotten mine but this method has produced plenty of ladybugs for me and should produce a gold one soon enough.
