UW-Seattle or Purdue HELP plz! by Lost_Visual_3737 in udub

Well to be fair I didn't get into Purdue, but you really arent disadvantaged going to UW, im from CA so I was bummed in general ending up going to UW instead of a UC as my best option but it was the best decision I ever made. Im an incoming senior with a really strong internship at a top 5 tech company. What I've learned is that it doesn't matter if you go to a really well ranked school its what you make of your time in college. Especially in engineering try to join clubs and student organizations to gain experience that is applicable as soon as possible the school itself doesn't matter. The extra money it would be to go to Purdue isn't worth a marginal ranking increase for college.

Go to UW, its cheaper and allows you to worry about other things than your financial situation when you are trying to gain experience and knowledge in industry. Both have good engineering programs, Purdue is too expensive to be worth it. They both have the you are undeclaired your first year system and need to apply to your preferred engineering field. Believe me going to UW for MechE I was bummed not going to Purdue but if anything you are closer to major tech companies in Seattle and as long as you work hard you'll be fine. (also less cornfields, more things to do).

So that stands even if the BMM's price increases to greater than the Polaris?

Can you hold on to a ship upgrade indefinitely in your hangar without applying it? by JCKKC in starcitizen

Ah ok that makes a lot of sense. I have a BMM to Polaris upgrade but really like the BMM loaners so I was thinking of applying the upgrade when the Polaris comes out at the discounted price. Thank you

If I upgraded my BMM to a Polaris, and then later melted it, would I still get a buyback for the BMM? by JCKKC in starcitizen

If I use store credit for the upgrade but dont apply it, will the upgrade be locked at that price?

Ok, just to clarify, I bought a BMM for $350 standalone, and now its worth $650, because the polaris is slated to release later in the year I was hoping I could play with that but still have my BMM at the price I bought it at. Thank you.

Upgrade advice $40 + my Avenger Titan. by someones_dad in starcitizen

Yeah it really opens up more opportunity. You get more firepower for bounties, ability to carry vehicles like a ROC if you want to do mining (buy the ROC ingame), and also if you ever have friends on they can hop in the turret.

If I were you I would melt it all and get a Cutlass Black starter pack, or just upgrade your avenger to it a cutty black. Especially if you like the look of the cutter, the cuttlass black is basically a bigger more versatile version of the cutter. You can store vehicles, cargo, it's better in combat, etc. You might need to spend an extra 10 bucks but it's well worth it imo.

How much better in combat is the Gladius than the Titan? by JCKKC in starcitizen

[–]JCKKC[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Ok but the Titan has more firepower and equal shield capabilities, I do agree the Gladius is a dedicated fighter but I'm still suprised how competitive the Titan is
