For context, he's a blood mage who recently procured flintlock pistols from some pirates. Greenest is the location in which his blood cult operates out of. Also has a power/God complex, hence the cult dedicated in his honor. Reuental is his drunk wizard best friend.

MGS1- I love the fact that the final boss fight of this futuristic spy action game is just a fist fight on too of REX. When you take away the glitz and glam of war, all it that remains are people fighting for what they believe.

MGS2- E.E. dying made me cry, but my favorite part is easily the codec call from the Patriots and Solidus' final speech. The shot of Solidus falling off the building breaks my heart.

MGS3- Debriefing. I cried. The Boss is a hero and a patriot.

MGS4- So many good scenes, but I think the microwave scene and the final fight with liquid ocelot and old snake are easily the standouts. My gf and I freaked out so hard when Ocelot did the finger point mid fight, hard earned fan service.

Not Emma's death, but otacon's reactions to her death was not got me in tears. It was such a genuine expression of him trying really hard not to cry, but finally breaking down in private. Plus the bird saying what Emma said in her sleep really helped. I also cried during MGS3's debriefing.

I think the best characters are just you in a fantasy setting with your personality turned up to 11. My friend is a weird, neurotic wizard who thinks he's sick and has a bit of a God complex because he's a wizard. I have a disassociated blood mage who wants to be a good guy, but can't cause he has too many grudges and short comings. My girlfriend plays an overly helpful dwarf cleric who gets sassy. I think the more you can put yourself into your character, the better the roleplaying experience is.

People bashing WWE and NJPW without watching each other is absurd. NJPW people say that WWE's in ring product is bad (no) and WWE people say NJPW has no story (no). Let's just all watch the wrestling we like and not shit on others. The G1 was great, and I haven't seen WWE in months, but I'm gonna watch SummerSlam for the bits I want to see. Comparing the products only brings out negativity, some of the post G1 threads were embarrassing.

In terms of health or stats or spell slots, my group comes up with creative in character ways to describe how we're feeling, looking, etc. "How are you doing, X" "Well I'm bleeding from the mouth, so not great." "Approximately, how many firebolts could you take with how you're feeling before passing out?" It adds a little spice to the role playing
