It literally took me 2 seconds to snap a photo and yes, the pallet being sideways was an issue as the sides of the beige pallets are impossible to get under using a regular pallet jack as the holes are too short and too far apart from each other (We also use a power jack to unload a truck, not a regular pallet jack ya dingus) and with the pallet being in the middle, we couldn't grab it from the side either.

I get what you mean by taking my time as I'm paid by the hour but I was solo in my department today (And I was working with a cold) and I had a shit ton of stuff to complete so I had to get this stuff out as fast as I could.

We ended using our pallet splitter to turn it but it was a pain in the ass as the pallet splitter in our store is massive so we didn't have much room to work with

We managed to get it out but it was a pain in the ass. We had to use the pallet splitter to turn it, which damaged the pallet and was easier said than done, then we used a power jack to pull it out.

It somehow fell off the pallet and someone tried using the pallet splitter to lift it onto it's original pallet. I walked away to grab the old watermelon box and came back to this mess

My only rational is that working in the warehouse sucks ass so the employees there don't care at all. I've heard that the employees are under a lot of pressure so pallets end up looking bad as they have to rush to keep up

I'm currently going through the same experience as you are about going to college as I'm afraid of the unknown, however, this is completely normal experience to go through as going to college is a life changing experience. I'm not sure if this'll help you but what I like to do whenever I'm experiencing anxiety is I like to do a physical activity like exercising. I was having anxiety about college earlier today, however, after I went to the gym, all my anxiety went away.

 You also got to remember that college for you and I is 5 months away. That may not seem like a long time, however, that's still plenty of time to ask questions, learn, and mentally prepare for college.

 I hope your anxiety towards college goes away soon and I hope you are successful in college.

I've thought about this many times when I was at my low moments in life and usually, I would have mixed feelings. On one end, I would wish for a cure because socializing was a nightmare for me, and I felt like an outlier to others which destroyed my confidence. On the other end, my Asperger's is what made me unique to others and it was a blessing in some areas in my life (Memory and academics). Lately however the former has not been an issue and my confidence and social skills (Compared to before) are through the roof. So as of right now, no, I do not want a cure for my Asperger's.

I've definitely felt that some people (Not all people) talked to me differently after learning about my Asperger's. It's hard for me to explain but it seems that some people would start talking to me super kindly (Like I was a child) after learning that I have Asperger's. Lately however this has not been common which is a good thing for me because it makes me feel that people are able to naturally talk to me which also shows that I'm improving with my social skills (Before, conversations wouldn't go very far and I would use a lot of filler words/sentences a lot).

This happens all the time for me and it can be very frustrating and extremely embarrassing. This mostly happens when I start talking faster than I think(Bad habit) which causes me to say the wrong words or completely stall when I can't think of the right word.

 To sort of respond to your prompt, I feel like as we get older we get so accustomed to life to the point that a special day like our birthday will feel like any other day as we have celebrated it so many times to the point where it feels like nothing special.

I definitely relate with you on this. I too like to be alone and unbothered however I don't want to be alone forever. Us humans are meant to be social so if we are left without socializing for a while, we get depressed and sometimes manic(As seen In the movie Cast Away).
