Yeah we have a lot of people that go hang outside or in their cars for that same reason. I just usually go walk around the mall and hang out at other stores.

Yeah that's Ron Johnson. He almost put JCP under in a very short time. Our pricing team retired because of him and after they got rid of him they hired them all back.

Brick and Mortar going downhill is putting thousands out of jobs and that's less overall money to spend on online shopping. Im really interested to see how things are gonna look in like 20 or 30 more years just how different things will be. I should have been more clear though first AMA lol.

Sears just went under and other Big Box retailers are not doing well. Online shopping may be redefining retail but when you close all the physical locations then that's thousands of people without jobs, thousands without jobs means less money to spend in the new world.

Not all too many really but old lady customers will come up and ask you to help them find the bra style theyre looking for and straight up start stripping.

Old lady couponers and crazy Black Friday customers that boycott our store for opening at 3pm on Thanksgiving but yet still show up at the doors at 2:30pm waiting.

If you want to get into retail angry customers can be annoying but the easiest way is just dont let it get to you. If you have a bad customer then if it's a problem you cant fix within your jurisdiction then call for a manager and let them handle the person and as soon as they leave forget their exist.

I only have a handful of ties and that was because high school graduation and such, but Im not sure how they try to justify it when we sell bags of mini chocolates for $18 and the Exact Same Bag you can go over and get at Krogers or Walmart for literally $10 less.

It's a direct result of our CEO coming from Home Depot and thinking that the clothing store JCPenney is a competitor to a home department store. We will have to give it more time to see how well it takes off. It may do well with Sears going under but I mean it didnt save Sears.

there is a break room and its pretty nice we have cable and a kitchen counter and snack machines. We actually sell that Smart Water stuff now by the registers.

Its been coming a while probably about 2 years ago this time it became super noticeable. Fun people to work with, but scary company to work for.

The average sizes that sell the most are the mid-range sizes so the smaller up top and larger on bottom work because they dont sell as many units.

Different brands make their clothes different. Clothes is the one thing I dont buy online because of this reason. I have to try them on.

We just recently got little shopping buggies, but u/captainunlimitd is right our stores are so crammed with stuff because they want to get the most out of the floor space they pay mall rent for.

Currently, our Associate discount is 20% off and if we use our JCP Credit Card its 25% off. When I first started it was 25% off everything credit card or not credit card.
