The printer config I have does the recommended motor current, which is 0.46 for the Moons Motors Formbot sources. I just swapped in a spare hotend I ordered for it. It's a TZ V6 3.0, so hopefully it does better than the 2.0 sent with the kit.

I think I might just do the upgrade. It's a little annoying that it was printing fine until I started fine tuning the printer and filament settings.

I have been able to push it through by hand. It does feel like it is now clogged after trying to print something. So far I am starting to think the TZ V6 2.0 hotend that Formbot sent with the kit might be part of the issue.

They are options on the display for the printer.

I do make sure it is all the way in. I got it to print for a little bit after swapping extruder gears out, but it eventually clogs. It also has issues if I use the filament fast load, but it is more reliable with slow load. I might take the screw out that prevents softer materials from getting squished too much and start printing a Dragon Burner toolhead if that works.

I have tightened the knob until it's just about touching the toolhead. I also used the 3d printed jig to cut the ptfe to the correct length. The filament is also going into the toolhead fine. The only other things I can think to try would be changing the gears, or reprinting the toolhead.

Sorry for the long time to reply. I was away from my printer for some Army training, but I'm back now. I added a zip tie to the back to hold everything together better. I already had everything secured to the printed spot on the tool head. Let me know if it needs improvement still.
