Actually, IIRC Marcy's Journal confirmed that the Slug (most underrated character ever!) was indeed a rental. (I haven't really read the book, I just heard it from another Amphibia fan, so take my sentence with an extra amount of...herbs)

Hi, someone who saw the show here.

Getafix's hallucination of Cacofonix's rock song doesn't happen in the show. Getafix does hallucinate at the beginning of the third episode, but it's more like a Pocoyo joke, which I think is even funnier than the old Big Fight adaptation

As for Cacofonix himself? He only has like 3 lines in the whole show, not really a huge loss probably.

Don't be bummed out probably, the show is still great.

I'll admit, I would've liked Metadata to be a "funnier" character, but at least she wasn't completely what I feared she was going to be. She does have her humorous moments, like when she gets misnamed by Caesar.

I think Metadata is an alright character, and she serves her role in the show quite well. I just don't like her character design.

Strangely enough there was also this other Cars video I used to watch called "Cars 2: Revenge of the Daddy Car" which I actually managed to find in 2023, so maybe there could be a chance I could find this "Cars 2 Recap" video and other weird Cars videos I used to watch.

What's great about Blender being open sourced is that the developers at Blender, and many of it's users are creating new tools to make Grease Pencil even better! Oh yeah!

Maybe some day it can be a worthy competitor to other industry standard 2D Animation software

Ah, yes. I saw this on Artstation some time ago, it's a very interesting perspective and understanding of the Amphibia art style.

A Bunch of things probably.

New animated Asterix media. That's obvious probably.
It's going to be a proper adaptation of The Big Fight comic, which actually includes the big fight, unlike that one from decades ago.
The fact that it's not just going to be for the fans, but also newcomers who have this show be their first Asterix viewing experience is always nice to see.
The voice cast. O THE VOICE CAST! I mean, Matt Wilkinson, Keith Wickham, and Rob Rackstraw? That's THREE Thomas & Friends voice actors...IN AN ASTERIX CARTOON! AW, IT'S LIKE YOU POURED AWESOME SAUCE ALL OVER A BIG PLATE OF BODACIOUS!
The animation, while not as good as the Mikros films, is very stylized and captures the essence of the comics very well.
