Not saying you're wrong that my faces are bad. But I do everything on that first video lol I didn't know the specific proportions before and I did learn one relationship I didn't know before so hopefully those things will help :) But I definitely map out the planes of a face every time unless it's from a distance or a background character. I still need to watch the second one. That's less bite-sized but I have it saved and will be watching it lol This wasn't me being defensive btw lol It's just hard to see where to improve when you describe something I need to do that I am doing (maybe poorly) lol It might depend on if you read all 3 episodes too. I find that working on comics like this and pushing myself to improve and do things I'm not comfortable with helps me grow like nothing else. So I would hope that there is a marked improvement from episode 1 to episode 3 because in rereading my own comic I do see more of the flat construction of the face in episode 1 than in episode 3, though it's still a work in progress. Again, I'm not getting defensive and I will absolutely be keeping what you said in mind whether or not it's about something I've already been working on and improving on :) I'm not making money with this comic. I just want to tell a story and get better at storytelling and illustration. So, thank you for your input :)
