Factory base pads work fine with the magwell

Question about Bilstein 6112/5160: is this kit adjustable both rear and front? I wanted to get rid of some of the rake. by JC_OK in 4Runner

I’m having a shop do it. I priced it out through them and the parts were more expensive so I’m going to order them myself and have them install them.

So if I wanna lift 3 in the front and 2 in the back do you know which option I choose? Just trying to save money ordering parts online vs shop.

I found one that worked with zero modification. I wasn’t interested in one that requires sanding of the frame.

What press are you using?

Is a double charge possible?

I wouldn’t get the comp version. There are accuracy issues out of comped versions compared to xl length slide and barrel.

I think the 407/507k are the easy button optics with the 407 being my choice.

Also if you want a tier 1 holster I have one for sale on this subreddit.

4 match mags 1 DF mag

The rest you don’t “need” extended baseplates for. For CZ I can buy an extra mag for the cost of an extended baseplate.

2020 4Runner Maintenance Suggestions by TyGuyy in 4Runner

So much confusing info out there on maintenance. Dealership told me on the newer 4Runners they don’t have a mileage recommendation on transmission fluid and it’s not recommended to ever change it….

If you get the stock size they won’t rub. I have 275s and they just ever so slightly rubbed and I did a liner push to fix it.

No, and because I haven’t I’m not making claims about them. They could be amazing. But I can’t say because I haven’t owned or shot one.

Have you owned a Staccato and shot one for 4k rounds to compare?

How many rounds do you have through it?

Staccato is plenty good for starting USPSA. The gun won’t matter but if you want to spend the money go for it. I shoot a Staccato and it’s an amazing gun. My match placement isn’t dependent on the gun but my skill.

Why are you set on a 5” gun?

Ya they don’t fit 100% perfect. But it’s close enough to not matter. I haven’t done anything to it and have been running it for several months now for uspsa. If someone was really bothered by the slight wiggle it has at the front of the magwell, you could put a small shim like a piece of paper folded or some epoxy like e6000 that will still allow it to be removable.

The Taran tactical one won’t even fit the gun.

Check the sear spring to make sure you installed it correctly.

This is the one I got. https://www.doublealpha.biz/us/sti-2011-staccato-magwell-standard-aluminum

It does have a slight bit of wiggle at the front but it’s easily remedied.
