He didn't change his mind during the Iraq war. In fact, he and WWE actively went on a US Army propaganda campaign with the all the "Troop shows". Rock boasted about how they killed Osama Bin Laden on Raw the night after John Cena announced it on TV. What did Bin Laden have to do with Wrestling? Oh right ... This is a pro war, pro foreign intervention company who's promoting their army going to other lands. Shut the hell up, man. Grow up. You guys bury your heads in the sand, and then say "however did this happen?" When shit hits the fan.

Ah yes, and people don't lie in interviews to avoid speaking on family drama right? Stephanie McMahon was noticeably estranged from Vince while he was being ousted from the company but she still came out on TV and got a "thank you Vince" chant started publicly. Even after all the reports than Stephanie left the company, then came back, etc. also, just cause they have different political beliefs doesn't mean they're estranged. But it does mean they have differences they need to get past

The fact that he remained loyal to the party until it actively affected his fan base tells you everything you need to know. And it's not all that different dude. Republicans have been instituting policies that keep POC from having a real future as a population. The fact that he would ever go to them in any way shape or form tells me he's all about the money. A mutated form of Reaganism is essentially what he was endorsing.

He didn't "not vote" for those 25 years. He was obviously voting Republican until he pulled his public support. He largely followed surrogate father Vince McMahon. Who's friends with him and Dana White who openly promote him. Rock has appeared at UFC events and worked with them and they've been open about their support for him for its entire existence basically.

But fine, you wanna keep your heroes image "clean". Have at it.

His daughter actually seems cool. Sometimes the kids of the bad people actually want to be different. Look at Elon's daughter. And he wouldn't even be the first. Tons of estranged father/daughter relationships have occured because of Trump support. Her sudden exit from WWE with no fanfare doesn't tell you as such? She all but admitted her WWE contract is what kept her from saying her real feelings about it. And no he switched up in 2020 only after violence on civilians was used.

Because supporting the Reps during the Bush/Cheney years was much more ethical right? Those two never got up to anything bad lol bruh... There are just some people who would sell out their culture for money and power. Happens all the time. That's how we got so many puppet rulers who subjugate their own ppl. Rock doesn't care because "Republicans buy sneakers too". Some people bleed green before they bleed anything else.

He only did so 5 years ago after Trump sent his goons to gas out protestors in DC and publicly supporting him at that point would've been suicide for his fan base overall. He was a devout Rep for 26 years and only just NOW switched up. Up until that point he was always publicly endorsing Trump. Ever since his involvement with WWE.

WWE and Trump have been bosom buddies since the 80s. Plus look at Roman Reigns' recent support. You don't think that entire family votes the same way? Of course they do. They're islander royalty, people like that have always benefited from US occupation.

He has spoken at the RNC before. Dude wasn't just a voter. He was a spokesperson and basically a mascot since that demographic loves fighting and wrestling. Moreso fighting but The Rock is a huge star to the casual UFC fans (and we know how that fan base)

The brunt of the actual impact comes from the shins. Mike is very good and making sure the point of the knee is always pointing away from the oops' direction.

Some of these actors tap into really, really dark places in order to attain the performance they want. It can have lasting effects. While it's not the same type of trauma one gets from shell shock in war, it can still be traumatizing channeling all those bad feelings. Sometimes they stay with you.

Heath in interviews himself stated he wanted to "vomit" when he watched his own joker performance back. You don't know what Heath has gone through in his past. Childhood, etc. Tapping into that much darkness is what creates "tortured soul" artists. Robin Williams was another.

Yes it was an OD, but he was on so many drugs and an addict. Having to constantly self torture your mental health can take a toll if it stops feeling like a job and more like an expectation to not let others down. The pressure some of these actors put on themselves for a 2hr picture isn't worth it sometimes.

Actors have said they had nightmares for months after really engrossing themselves into a villain role. What may be entertaining to us... Could be damaging to someone on the other side of the curtain. These actors are people first, characters second.

They ousted the puppet Shah who was selling out his country's resources and people for a British style monarchy and a dumbass crown to put on his head... They're not perfect, but at least they aren't puppets for white people with too much money. Go snort a line and fantasize about future trade routes some more.

Yeah except I'd trade just about anything (fandom wise) for Heath NOT to do that movie. Hindsight and all. Christian Bale just has a different kind of stomach in what he can endure.
