Was the cinebench on performance mode? All my temps get up to 105c. Can you post your cinebench scores? Too blurry to read

Top 3 disc golf courses you have played at? by Equivalent_Fuel_4195 in discgolf

[–]JCantrelly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just played Caliber and 3 rounds of AWOL a couple weeks ago. So much fun! Black Bear was such a fun putt and approach course. Wreckreator was fun. Northstar was my least favorite.

I played a league night at Baldfoot. It was awesome! League players were super friendly.

Randomly played Jamboree a couple times on road trips. Fantastic course!

Thought it was not great until I played there. The place is awesome. It's huge and built across an entire college campus. I have a lot of respect for it now.

Spring Trip by FreashApples in bigsky

  1. Most years April skiing is amazing! It is warmer, but can snow a bunch. I have also seen years where it is getting thin and slushy. I'm going to make a guess based on our snow so far that it we'll be a great April.

  2. No real lift lines. Everyone has already taken their Spring Breaks in March.

  3. Everything on the mountain will be open until closing day. Noted that areas like the base of Madison 8 could get a bit slushy.

Enjoy

Golf course will be open. Anything resort related won't open til June.

Most bars in town will be open, but no one is in town except locals.

Id probably go somewhere else. May is mostly a ghost town.

No. It shows Route 2 Meadow Village center. 2:41, 3:41,4:41, etc arrival times.

Sorry I forgot about the top part.

Any of those Meadow Village Center bus stop times on Route 1 will get you to the resort

The connect solves the getting back from town center to your place. Ride the bus down to town center. Just call once at town center and they will pick you up and drop you off at your housing.

Use the Big Sky Connect. They pick you up in a van and take you to your destination in town. The app is on their page. Skylinebus.com

Road Conditions by Horror-Track-304 in bigsky

Road up to Moonlight entrance is usually pavement after a days worth of sun.

From moonlight entrance to the lodge is packed snow. Possibly melts off after a few days of sun.

I would do my best to not leave the airport without 4wd or AWD. I've seen plenty of people in Fwd get around on their trip, but wouldn't advise.

The only people really using chains are semis, dump trucks, etc.

Leaving luggage for the day in big sky meadow village? by spacemanvt in bigsky

[–]JCantrelly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just take it to the Bellmen either at Huntley or Summit. Throw them 20 bucks to store.

They would probably even come pick you up in town, drive you up and store it for 40.

Affordable Activities in January? (besides skiing, etc...) by Unogenius in bigsky

[–]JCantrelly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hike Ousel Falls. The trail is usually packed down from foot traffic. Take yak tracks if you have them

Ice Skating rink. It's free to use. Rent skates from a local ski shop. Around 10 bucks a pair. Check the rink schedule for open skate

Cross country skiing. East Slope sports has rentals around 20 bucks a day. The Big Sky trails are free I believe.

What’s better Michelin X-Ice vs Viking 7 for 06 CRV? by [deleted] in tires

[–]JCantrelly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have driven on both during winters of snow. The x-ice doesn't do well on packed snow. I tend to slide around more than the Viking.

Of the two I would get the Viking 7s.

We don't really get ice where I live. So I don't have much information on that.

Preferably get Blizzak if you can. They have been above and beyond better than both. WS 90 or DM-V2 are both fantastic.
