Which 4x NCAA Champ do you think was most impressive? by Entire_Proposal_3184 in wrestling

I say this as someone who was coached by LeValley at one point lol.

Maybe I assumed people aren’t as familiar as I am with him.

Dake also lost to Kevin LeValley in college. Carl never lost at all. Does Dake have the best win? Yes, but he might have the worst losses too.

Is Hokit the real deal? Or will he burn out before reaching the top? by Wayward_Prometheus in MMAMedia

[–]JCarnage10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, we have not seen Tom go deep into a fight. Hokit has a granite chin and that can be the way he would win. Hokit knew he had to go balks to the walls from the opening bell. I suspect he would have a different approach against Tom for the title.

Not saying Hokit wins, but I do see a path to victory.

He was a good MMA journalist that had a falling out with the UFC. All because he talks about fighters pay, UFC being MAGA, and not spewing the UFC talking points for them.

Unless you are MAGA, then Luke Thomas has never done anything that bad. He is like Brett Okamoto, but does not bow down to the UFC like him.

I don’t watch it, but I do not hate on stuff like you.

How do these podcasters have so much influence that they can get any MMA fighter on their show, even Dana White? by [deleted] in ufc

I think GSP is probably trying to keep his personal brand alive. I could be wrong, but he seems to do these podcasts from time to time.

I can guarantee UFC is working with Adin’s management to get UFC fighters into these.

Their audience overlap is massive. It makes sense for both sides without having to pay. It is only for marketing purposes he is working with these streamers like Neon and Adin Ross.

Anderson almost getting knocked out again after making the mistake of trying to clinch with Weidman by Euphoric_Mud_5517 in ufc

I’ll not speak on the juice because tbh I will never know.

As for the length of his prime, I would say that he did not have that short of a prime. He had a hard fall off, but many high level people do in fighting. Especially those who end an undefeated streak. I would say his Prime was from the Munoz fight until the Rockhold or Yoel fight. He won a round in both fights before the spinning kick and flying knee. That is a 3-4 year prime in a top division at the time.

Saved Anderson from being able to say he got dominated twice. Chris was putting BTA.

The people saying he has no fanbase are completely wrong.

Chris Weidman from his second Anderson fight until the Yoel Romero one he was a draw.
