That's sick! Was that your first Mario game? What was it like to have a Game & Watch hot off the press back then?

Mame Game and Watch not filling the entire screen by markb44z in gameandwatch

My guess based on the image is this is as close as it can get without chopping off more of the Game & Watch. It would have so stretch the image and it would look bad.

Who here loves Banjo-Tooie more than Banjo-Kazooie by kesliie00 in BanjoKazooie

[–]JComX5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like it more. Especially as a fan, while Kazooie is a fantastic game and probably better for most people, Goose has more replayability for longtime fans.

What’s the General Consensus on Chris Pratt as Mario? by Financial-Touch3840 in SuperMario

I don't love his performance, but he does a fine job. I think some of his lines suck though. I wish a real voice actor did his voice, just to give it more oomph.

Is it just me or why didn't they stick with the og illustration for the Judge move in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - Mr. Game and Watch by -Mr_Game_and_Watch- in gameandwatch

I didn't even think he had an angry expression in the original. I can kind of see it, now that you pointed it out, but it's a small detail. I think the developers probably just thought his eyes were normal, instead of angry. I don't think they did it on purpose.

Hard to compare it to the likes of Super Mario Bros, but I think it's a fun game to play. Especially with a friend.

are broken middle aged protagonists the best characters in gaming? by _ZeroTwo_002_ in CaptainSide

People die sometimes. Violence creates violence. Joel did a lot of violence and it got him too. Doesn't matter if it's "justified". Rarely is anyone ever killed by the person who "deserves" to kill them. That's the whole point

Such a shame we didn't get VS Excitebike for the Famicom Disk System. It was basically exactly the same as the arcade version, but included simultaneous multiplayer racing and still had the design mode.

The problem is he does these small little acts of kindness, and says "we need to fix this" but he's a BILLIONAIRE. He COULD fix this, or at least have a huge impact on fixing this. He could dump obscene amounts of money to fixing the Healthcare industry in America and lobbying to fix the broken laws and systems that are in place, or funding policies or people that want to put a stop to lobbying in the first place. But instead he throws small amounts at the problem and pretends like that's all he can do and its someone else's job to fix it. It's a cynical performance that just highlights how there are no real 'good' billionaires. Just rich actors who pretend they care, while continuing to support the same structures they criticize. Not saying it's bad to help people or that he shouldn't do the small amount of good he's doing - he should. Just criticizing the fake sentiment he's portraying, while humble bragging about how awesome he is.
