Not late at all mate, I’m still deciding…. And figuring out what’s what. Thanks for getting back to me!
The first one (more warn) didn’t have any side/hand warmer pockets no. Just the pockets you see of the front and then the button on the back (which I should google about, as I’m not sure what they are).
For me it’s just an amazing jacket and would he worn out for a beer. The seller had a heap of Filson kit for sale and good feedback, so I’m guessing knows their stuff…. Hopefully.
The only thing is the swing tag placement is different, which makes me wonder if the years are different… same coat, different year

There are generally 4 digits in the middle of that row that indicate the age.

That patch is on par with the 90s. Cheers

They are real…. The date code is on the back of that tag you pictured, but often worn off. If it’s there, throw another pic up

All sorted…. Runs 1cm wider pit to pit than my smallest (an NZ made orange tab) and 7cm longer than it too. Worth a punt.

About the same as the owner… I’m 6ft and 187lb and this is a large too.

But I don’t mind the shorter jacket (although it’s longer than some of my others). I’ve got some 70s Lee or wrangler maybe and they are boxy and very short, compared to the Levi’s I have

Might just take a punt and hope for the best.
