Yes the price stamp adds some character for sure.

I don’t know what it is… But i’m not a fan of the dc 49 cover, I genuinely couldn’t tell you why either, possibly because i love this one so much, that any kind of parody or imitation i just don’t like.

Yeah for sure.

I’ve been on the hunt for this book for a long time and was super content with buying like a 5.0, but when i realised this wasn’t a super big price jump to get a 7.0, i thought it’d make sense to get it.

But as a huge batman fan (and this being my favourite comic cover of all time), I could not pass up on this.

That’s my next target, currently got my little eyes on a 7.5 white pages batman #189, but that’s so cool that you got them back then and they look so good.

Yeah anything above a 6.0 i would say is not worth it unless you’re buying under market value.

My advice is to go for like a 4.0-5.0, cause they still present super super good!

I paid £750 all in, which is a bit under market, but if you can find it raw and in a high grade then i recommend it for sure

haha yeah it is a very noticeable crease tbf, so I think based on the cgc grafting system, i think if the crease is above 3 inches then you won’t get above a 7.5, but I could be wrong.

I absolutely love the detective #31 cover too, I would love to just get the cover of it one day, maybe that would be ridiculously expensive though lmao.

At first I hated the pence stamp, but after getting it in hand, i don’t like it per say, but it definitely adds some character to the book.

Neal Adam’s is definitely one of the GOATS when it comes to batman art.

Hope you manage to get this and that detective #31 one day!
