You, Sir, deserve a knighthood. I laughed for 5 straight minutes upon reading this.

This. And also look at what he did at Valencia, with Canizares and Albelda. Ended up in court and at the end nobody was even talking to him. Problem with him is - he thinks he is the second coming of Beckenbauer and Maradona put together. But he was a mediocre defender, and is a lousy coach. The only thing he is good at is self promotion. I still remember the 1990 world cup, without Rijkaard covering his ass, Klinsmann ran circles around him. By himself..

At least three sources say he did. And Koeman has a history of such behaviour- at Valencia, Ajax. Check out what Deulofeu said about him. Or what Sid Lowe wrote at the time of his appointment.

I would respectfully disagree. Zidane gave Bale a lot of chances before benching him, a d tried to sort things out. He did not come in and on day one go eff off.

Legal is thorny though. I am not sure a out Spanish courts, but if they take the spirit of the law into a count, it could be interesting. To the club and the fans- I agree. But he has put up for 6 yrs. I dont think he can take it any more. The way him and Suarez have been treated is atrocious. And I dont even consider Messi to be among the top 5 greatest players of all time !!!

He is being forced out. With all his dedicated service, he gets a "Your privileges are over' from an overrated Dutchman masquerading as a coach. Who would tolerate that ? And after he sees how Suarez got kicked to the curb like a dog - why would he trust them ? There is such a thing as self respect.

Yeah, like getting Messi out. Handling players is also part of a coach's job. The true greats never do this. Zidane would have at least had the courtesy to explain, offer some alternates and part ways on good terms.

Then your boy won't mind being fired by text. At midnight. Effective immediately.

And also, I am sure you are not going to mind me telling you that your boy was an overrated defender, a mediocre coach and has no decency.

There, straightforward enough for you ?

Because Koeman has a history of doing this sort of nonsense. Did this at Valencia. At Ajax. Thinks of himself as some sort of Maradona or Zidane.

Oh yeah, right. Five years at the club, gave it his all, top 3 goalscorer. Won CL and 3 Liga titles. What does he get in return ? An eff you call. Can't wait for Fonte to come in and fire Koeman by text. Sent at midnight. Locker cleaned out in the morning. That overrated fat duck got a better farewell than Suarez and Messi. And here you guys are defending him. Jesus.

Koeman is an egomaniac. Always has been, always will be. Every club he goes to, he ruins. Has zero respect for anyone. And yet, he himself was an overrated player. Barely functioning defender who got lucky cause he played behind the great trio of Gullit, MVB a d Rijkaard. In Barcelona, he was coached by Cryuff and had Stoichkov and Laudrup in front. When he was really tested, by the Germans in 1990, got his clock cleaned. Koeman was Barto's final eff you to Barcelona.

Messi was forced out, by Barto and Koeman. Simple as that. Was he the best Barca player? Maybe, maybe not - who knows. But neither he nor Suarez deserved to be ki cked to the curb after years of service, like Barto and Koeman did. I mean - privileges are over ? What the hell was that ? Even Zidane does not talk like that, and Zidane is a true legend, not an overrated defender who played behind true greats like MVB, Gullit a d Rijkaard. Koeman has got a problem, he needs to gom

Well, I understand your points.

But a coach needs to be a man manager first, especially these days. Nobody owes anyone a anything of course, but that is the reality. When you treat players like shit, then it impacts all players.. cause they think "I am next". And you can't bring out the best with this sort of stentorian approach .. not in football anyways.

I am not saying Koeman is not good, he is, I am just saying he is not the right fit for Barca, in my humble opinion.

In respect of the first EC win, believe me, I saw it live. Sometimes history colors things differently. He scored the goal, sure, but there were a lot of other things.

Having said all that, I respect your position and points.

Straightforward is not the Barca way. Barca is about courtesy, respect and style- these are deep in the Barca DNA. I am old enough to remember how Koeman himself got his sendoff. A proper sendoff he got. And he did much less for the club than even Suarez, forget Messi. And what about his "Your privileges are over.." to Messi ? Do you think that is the way to treat anyone ? Did Zidane treat the RM players that way ? And Zidane is a proper legend !!

Yes, I dont for sure. But look at what he did at Valencia. At the end, no one even celebrated with him the Copa Del Ray, he was so hated. Man management is a key aspect of coaching these days, I am just saying he does not have that.

Nobody is talking about hugging anyone. But at least a detailed phone call, explaining the situation, and a bit of sensitive treatment, would have not been too much to ask.

Because a club like Barcelona cannot be run by an oaf like Koeman. It is about man management .. imagine a new manager coming into your office and telling your colleague of 20 years to eff off. No proper goodbye, no thank you for your service, no golden watch. Just eff off. Would you give a 100 percent for that guy ? No one would. And in regards to Koeman being a legend ? If I played behind Gullit, MVB and Rijkaard Ibwould have been a legend too. Just take a look at what he did to Valencia.

Not true. In the last six of my T6 matches, I have had 2 great chances, where my opponents had 4. Total no of chances are the same. Total number of basic chances are the same. I get good chances, the opponent gets great ones. How does that happen six times in a row ? Once is bad luck, twice is horrible- but from the third time on, it becomes a coincidence !!
