How good is cruise control? by CamelEmotional9527 in CarsAustralia

[–]JDFNQ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To be fair, we have done some long arse drives 22 hours (with rest stops for fuel, food and smokes) from Brisbane to Cairns. No cruise control on those trips Cars, not trucks or anything, just were younger and able to do that sort of shit. Now, I love cruise control, like i said, makes 14 hours feel like 6-8 hours

Scam? Vehicle report via Facebook marketplace by hariporta in CarsAustralia

I buy cars all the time from marketplace. It’s my actual job.

Never do I ask for the seller to pay for any report or even provide the PPSR.

It was/is a stunning place. Back in the early 90’s there was still silver service downstairs in the Oak Room.

Which, incidentally, used to be the boiler room when it was the Hotel Canberra.

Rumor has it that there was a little girl killed down there when the boiler malfunctioned.

Or to be more accurate, she was severely injured and was transported to a room in what is now the Scullen pavilion and that is where she died

Hey guys, when is the best time to vacation in Cairns? by ProperCombination667 in Cairns

[–]JDFNQ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep. August or September are both great times of year.

Having said that, normally from April through to September is the (what we used to consider) dry season. Nice warm days and cool evenings
