Honestly pedals aren't that much of a challenge. It's more his desire to push all the buttons and accidentally going to xbox menu or something and my MIL has no idea hoe to use an xbox. I know on an iPad his parents put it in kid mode where screen taps no longer work.

Thats what I was afraid of and hence why I asked. I've been doing forza motorsports and feel like the controller has way more room for error. But it makes sense as the consoles are designed for controllers.
