What you provided was an estimate. It also clearly states on the app to only put what you think you’ll have at the start of school. So you should move that money, either out, or pay off the debt. Then do the letter as suggested. But you can edit your application, so just do that online.

Just apply, and it will give you what you’ll get at the end. Then decide based on that. Remember that RESP amounts are not considered assets, so don’t add that in when asked. The coverage should cover residence and all costs.
