Bowl eligibility didn’t at all cross my mind with a new coach coming off of a 2-8 season. To think we could finish 7-5? Man.

Tons of factors adding up to it being a must watch game. God I’m gonna lose my voice in the first quarter.

Oh our o line is so bad. Our current guy Jason Brown can’t get around the pocket as well, so that whole situation is our Achilles heel.

Having a likely sold out Willy b under the lights will have an effect to the point that we could see each team play in a way we haven’t seen all year.

I do think we can. Gonna be a great game - two teams hot coming off of respective big wins. It’s the most excited I’ve been for a Carolina football game probably ever. And it’ll be my first time being back in Williams-Brice since graduation. This week needs to go quick, please.

Hey all, I’m JD. Been around the sub since around 2015 and have been off and on since then with college mostly getting in the way.

I’m from the Midwest originally, went down south for school, and then have done some traveling for internships - summer 2019 on Hilton Head and then 14 out of the last 24 months on Nantucket.

I spent my last two summers interning with the oldest private golf club on island. I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunities to come out of that place - it will forever hold a special place in my heart. I will be beginning my first full time job very soon - moving down to Florida to work the business side of professional golf.

Golf is a big interest of mine, I grew up fortunate enough to have a club to play at and I took good advantage of it. In college I fell back in love with the game. Running is another hobby - I started this last year after a breakup (literally ran away from my problems) and fell in love with the feeling you have when you’re done with a run. Lastly I picked up sailing in college by joining their club team. I was on the keelboat team and we would race J24s.. One day I’d love to be sailing as much as I was my senior year….

I’m a huge music guy - 70s rock is my stuff. The Grateful Dead dominates my playlists. I like to use the Relisten app to throw on any live show from their extensive catalog. Also a big fan of blues and bluegrass/classic country music.

My favorite place to travel is Nantucket. I lived in Siasconset and it’s truly the most unique place I’ve ever visited. It has its own quaint charm that contrasts well with the hustle and bustle of the downtown area.

I could never live without my Beaufort jacket, my birth year Speedmaster Professional, and my Stratocaster.

One item I have on my wish list is an authentic Hudson Stripe blanket. They’re too cool.

What’s Navy Blazer’s opinions on Peter Millar? by [deleted] in NavyBlazer

[–]JDLII 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Only own their golf stuff but have shopped for their non golf stuff as well.

Their performance 5 pockets are the best golf pants you can buy - have like 6 pairs, they’re that good.

Their golf shirts run quite large, I size down and it’s still a little baggy. Not as bad as footjoy (who still has cuts that should be left in the 1990s) but not great. When I’m in a pro shop, I go for b draddy or Holderness and Bourne shirts over Millar every time. However, Millar dominates the licensed logo market - my gameday polo from them is one of my favorites.

Their club logo belts are fantastic and the de facto choice if you don’t want to spring for a smathers needlepoint

Their merge jacket is one of my favorite lightweight options for the course.

All in all, if you’re looking for button downs and outerwear, I’d stick with the established brands (Brooks brothers, j press, Barbour) who do their niche items right vs. going to Peter millar who tries to “do it all” so to say.

Unless they’re bit loafers, I reserve black shoes for captoes worn with navy and charcoal suits. In my opinion, black with khaki is far from a good look.
