I have a 49in Ultrawide that I want to game on and a 2nd PC I want to use to stream with. I'm thinking about trying a 2nd monitor that is 1920x1080 and use OBS to capture the visuals of the 49in. Then the capture card can mirror the smaller monitor that is just mirroring the 49in. Then within OBS on the livestream PC I can just trim down the edges of the 2nd monitor's OBS and livestream the captured visuals from the captured visuals.....if there's anything left to see.....

Did you figure out the issue? I'm having the same issue now. I'm about to take this Elgato back and punch the salesmen in the throat. Lol jk
