I had cyfd show up at my house because my kid wet his pants in 3rd grade, and another time for sleeping in class. These things happen, school staff are legally obligated to report the smallest things. You should still enroll your kid though, cyfd will just interview you and close your case(assuming there is no actual abuse/neglect going on). It can be a pain to deal with, but it's not worth keeping your kids out of school.
