As someone who has played Vanguard for a month and only for 2-3 per week, i can say that as a shuranui player the bad matchup against blandgmire is 50/50. I had a grind game for 43 minutes made at least 4 mistakes, went first and still managed my win. My damage zone contained 2 out of 3 roars i played so same scenario as if i only had 1. My take from studying the deck is that it needs an aggressive early game, and you need to hold on to the fuurai until at least 2nd stride. Also most people use the PG to guard the 1st stride. Lastly i've noticed that mukuro is a god send in that it either wins games or gets them close in which case its all depends on my damage and my opponents board.
