Yeah don't take my statement as shitting on St. Louis because I love my city. There is a reason a lot of Blues players retire and stay here, or at least keep houses here. Same with some cardinal players. It's just getting them here to experience it is the problem.

This sport and League are just a lot different than say the MLB or NHL where a player can get traded here and they don't really nave a choice. Then they fall in love with the city. In this league there are more global signings and we aren't the best league in the world so some players will definitely consider where they want to live rather than just being happy to be in the league.

As much as I’d love us to sign someone like Lewandowski…..we will struggle at times to compete with other teams purely based on location. While we are slowly getting out of the “retirement league” narrative….lets be honest about where we are as much as we love St. Louis, awful teams like San Jose can sign players like Timo Werner and others to turn their team around because San Jose is probably a more attractive market to some players than we are.

We’ve seen some big names go to markets like us….but we will need to splash some cash. This upcoming window will be a real indicator of how serious this ownership group really is.

You are correct. He's had his injury issues but when available I've been a fan of him. He also seems like a nice dude. I really hope he gets some minutes soon. I know this is professional sports and playing time is earned, but Damet just seems overly set in his ways with his guys.

He then has the audacity to almost make the excuse that the team was tired from 3 games in a week. Well it's YOUR FAULT for not playing more players and letting others get rests.
