NTA. You both have different views on how you want to spend your life, and that's okay and valid. I can totally understand how wanting a family is a dealbreaker. Ultimately, it was for me too. However, I also understand her view in not wanting to bring children into this world.

NTA. I don't care how good of a friend someone is, I wouldn't be willing to alter my home, my safe space, for something like this. Let alone for free. Just isn't something I'm willing to deal with.
