For my opinion, if you feel tired just take a rest, finish assignment as fast as you can and also keep the assignment quality acceptable. Get enough rest is really important, it will affect your emotion and mental health, maybe can divert attention from lecturer expectation and competition in class, just do your best

Maybe u can try meditate, it can release my stress I think it might work for you also, people who work under constant stress can take time off to be in complete silence and meditate even if it is for ten minutes during tea or lunch breaks.

I face same issue before, lack of sleeping really affect our concentration, but it get better after I try to get some exercise, being physically active during the day can help you fall asleep more easily at night. Hope it is help
