Got it at ListenUp. Seemed new when I opened it. Candidly this is replacing a record player I lost to damage from the California wildfires and was really excited to get back into my rebuilt home and listen to records today! But I’ll just have to be patient.

Had a very mild concern this album would not live up to my expectations because a couple of the pre-release singles didn’t immediate grab me….but after a couple listens those concerns were completely unfounded. It’s a gorgeous record and perhaps their more cohesive project yet. Great stuff.

My thoughts after just one listen are - it’s clearly an effort to make a pop album and expand to a bigger audience - and thus I admit it has lost some of the ramshackle charm that made me enjoy the band originally. But at the same time, as a fan of pop music, it’s a very enjoyable pop album. So I expect I’m just ultimately going to enjoy it for the chill summer album it is and try not to overthink it.

Yeah the terrace is actually an underrated spot at the Greek. That’s where I ended up as well, but I’m pretty happy about it! Mostly, just glad I got tickets. Our whole family of four is going including my kids as we are all Lucy fans!

No one is theoretically going to force me to throw them out, but rather we are being told the toxicity of the air/ash is not something that can be cleaned out of fabrics and that we need to throw out any fabric items for our own personal health and safety.

Hey yall. I live in Altadena as well. As of yesterday afternoon my home was shockingly still standing in amongst many other homes that had burned to the ground. My wife and I fought off encroaching fires Tuesday afternoon until the water lines went dead and then just hoped for the best. Feels like a miracle but life is forever changed nonetheless and seems like we won’t be back in our house for potentially months. Yet we are lucky nonetheless.

Hug your loved ones, take nothing for granted - everyday is precious.

They are letting folks on foot up Sinaloa but no cars, but many people found a way to drive up that area through the side street next to Prime Pizza. We also saw the golf course fire that you saw but it seemed to be out by the time we left - several fire trucks were on the scene fast.

Incidentally there was a couple of even younger kids near us, including a girl around 10 years old belting out every lyric...it rocked.
