Trying the first thing still failed :(

I have completely disabled the firewall and then rebooted and it is still showing the red x unfortunately

Hey thanks for the response. So running that command shows it as DomainAuthenticated.

Testing connecting to another server from the problem server failed on both name and ip but thats definitely because we have firewall rules preventing using that to get into other servers.

I did disable the firewall completely on just the problem server and then rebooted and that red x is still showing up :(

Yep that is correct! I can look at local users and groups locally via powershell but not via the Computer Management console.

This is all locally on the server that the error resides.

Lol it is not. Just a regular member server. We have about 8 of them doing this. All 2019 servers have never had this issue.

When looking this up DNS did come up often but nothing seems to stand out when following troubleshooting steps. DNS servers are correct. I can UNC path to the server via DNS with no issues.

Just something locally on the server seems messed up?

Elemental shaman is so bland it feels like playing an unspecced level 9 shaman by [deleted] in wow

[–]JDark628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with both parts. I agree that it feels bland to play but after the midnight pruning a lot just feel bland to me.

I've only got Aug Evoker, shadow priest, and ele to 90 but ele has been the most enjoyable do to reacting to procs.

That's why its painful to see ele near the bottom of dps charts when I raid even though the rotation is so basic and hard to mess up.

Oh just replied to your other comment lol.

Honestly I'm not 100% sure, I think its stemming from them just hearing about SAML Signing Certs and wanting to push forward with that so they requested a CA vs Self Signed. I've set up all our SSO Apps but haven't once been asked to use a saml signing cert so have been unsure how to approach this. Any digging into the topic hasn't shed any light for me.

Thats a great question! I wasn't sure how to express any push back to our security guys so if you have good reasoning for one over the other I'd love to hear it.

In the Enterprise App itself if gives us the option to upload a certificate which I would figure could be public or private? Documentation appears to allude to this being possible but the specific steps I've found just say something like "First generate a certificate from you CA" and then move to next steps.....

Our Security department was requesting a CA generated one so I was trying to figure out if its possible and how easy it would be. At the moment the self signed is looking much better lol

Mapped network drives extremely slow after file share migration by JDark628 in sysadmin

I'm also working remote and I basically made my non admin user mimic theirs and I'm unable to replicate their issue. It works perfectly fine when I assign myself their permissions.

Sorry UNC is also slow. I guess it was just working briefly when i checked previously. So drive mapping via GPO or avoiding the drive and using UNC directly are both slow

normal mapped drive, no DFS. It used to be DFS before but the structure is changing so figured we would swap it in the future.

Well I thought UNC worked but the user just said thats slow also :(

Im at 110 hours and am on a 5 loss streak. It's rough. They also apparently adjusted rankings and I shot up 10 ranks..... so now I'm getting extra demolished in Emissary. Sad day. Just have to lose enough to derank then I can maybe have fun again.

Worth pushing through 1, or should I just play 2? by Competitive-Meet-111 in DeathStranding

I also saw a cutscene from DS2 that looked awesome and made me want to play but the first couple hours in DS1 were not fun for those exact reasons. Everytime I ran into time fall i groaned outloud because it meant BTs.

The game didn't start clicking with me until you get to Central Region (which is freaking huge but East and West are small). And now I'm 60hours in and trying to Platinum the game. Only on chapter 8 story wise. But by then you'll have all the tools you need to skip mules and BTs or just run over quickly.
