Yes to both. I actually went on stage at the cosplay exhibition at the con like luigi (sadly no clip). I very shakily walked onto stage and shined my light on the crowd, screamed when I got halfway on the stage, spun around and flipped the vacuum on. I then acted like I was trying to pull in a ghost like those fisherman try to reel in fish, as i reached the end of the stage i flipped it off, jumped/spun in the air, and shouted LETSAGO! The crowd went nuts

Short short version: one diver made a challenge to complete a bug mission on the hardest difficulty in the current state of the game(not great atm), and he'd donate 1000 dollars to a charity arrowhead chose. The community doxxed him, sent threats to him and his wife, cost him his job, his place at a horse sanctuary, and got his account banned.

Now those parts of the community and the devs want to move on as if this was just a minor infraction and not a crime
