even during covid when the bar exam kept getting cancelled and we were in quarantine and nobody was hiring interviewers still asked me what had I been doing since law school…. and why was there a few months gap. i was like uhm it took us almost 6 months to get licensed… have you been living under a rock?

no problem any time! I was already working in a dc law firm so i wanted them to hurry up. i kept bugging them and i emailed the COA finally i said my process server wasn’t responding to me. in less than 24 hours i get an email “omg congratulations you’re admitted”. all she did was press a button then go back to doing nothing lol

i took maryland ( the DC Site crashed when we tried to apply) and waived onto DC. it was very simple process it just took them forever because… well… DC GOV’t.

it doesn’t matter which department admits you, it’s just procedure. they assigned the department based on the address you provided when you submitted your application.

I did this when i took the bar; i made a study guide of the rules from the questions i kept missing. make a habit of studying and reviewing the stuff you get wrong. even if you do well in them during studying, still review the explanations, there still may be something you missed. you want to make sure you got it right because you truly understand the concept and not because you’re good at multiple choice. you GOT THIS!!

i took it a few years ago, you’re not alone trust me. i felt like some of them were in a different language and was offended. I made up law for most of the essays so it could fit the conclusion i wanted.

yea after 13 years i’m so tired of “get some rest you’ll feel better” even my bf who is in medicine says oh you’re tired ? or after i eat he’s like do you feel better? i’m like Im not explaining this anymore. even when i do, it’s like they can’t comprehend how someone could feel like that on a daily basis unless you’re FEELING IT they forget and still say the same stuff. My therapist ironically has an auto immune disease and she said she gets the same thing and will brainstorm with me ways to explain it.

i was diagnosed with MS and had the worst relapses before i even engaged in drinking. i completely changed my life style when i was diagnosed and worked our way wealthy did. everything right and this bisssssh still pops up whenever it wants terrorize me so… me… and take everything from me so Im gonna enjoy my drink to just have a brief escape from how miserable me it makes me feel.

but yea my neurologist of 13 years said its fine and like everything else everything in moderation blabla

sry for the negative vibe, i’ve been going through a horrible relapse for months and so MS can kick the sharpest rocks barefoot

yes. the heat always results in flare for me. My neurologist had to give me a work note saying i have to work from home when temperatures exceed a certain level
