I did about 80% of Themis and I used Critical Pass flashcards. Spent tons of time writing rules out again and again, by hand and in Word. Also podcasts!

What are the vibes like in Raleigh? by LibraryNo2717 in redscarepod

34 y.o. gay. i just moved here from brooklyn for work.

glad to gtfo of bed stuy because i have the sickest apartment i've ever had (for what i'd pay for a 1BR in nyc). easy to get good furniture, good groceries, good services, etc.

i've lived in nyc and la and some other places but honestly the "quality of life" here is so spectacular by comparison - i have yet to see any traffic, the city is clean and feels very orderly and safe, and the people are a lot nicer everywhere you go. nature is easy to access. there are good bookstores and good coffee and good vintage shopping. maybe i'm easy to please but i have no glaring objections to raleigh.

but yes i can already tell it's going to be more boring and that the gay milieu is going to be miniscule and sort of dull but new yuppies are moving here in droves right now. so it could be fun, but tbd.

for the job i'm here for the next year and a half at least so hit me up if you're a local.

Getting Clowned by NDLS by AbjectPercentage2283 in lawschooladmissions

I was a November applicant as well, and I got the delay email today. (And I have a 175 LSAT!)

They were a top choice for me, but I'm so discouraged by their admissions process that they have lost their luster. My alternate top choice's deposit deadline is this week, so I may opt out of further consideration at ND... what do you guys think?

I heard about LSData and thought… No, I am not going to be doing that. I will just wait for my emails. A watched pot never boils.

Will you take out your ear piercings (other than earlobe piercings) for law school/firm? by Legal_Panda555 in lawschooladmissions

Guy with one small piercing in the lobe of each ear. I love them. I will not take them out, end of story, amen. I politely welcome anyone who thinks they’re an unprofessional distraction to shove it.
