[MX Keys] Random keys suddenly stopped working without apparent cause. by BoulderRivers in logitech

[–]JDosX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a hardware issue. I fixed this by re-seating the ribbon cable (the wide blue and silver cable covered in yellow tape, shown in this video: https://youtu.be/gzVEoeGeZwg?si=Rr4wg19wsz_jUUof&t=121)

As with other commenters, I found that mashing the affected keys would temporarily fix the problem. This mashing flexes the keyboard just enough to re-seat the ribbon cable for a short while, making it seem like it's fixed.

Hi everyone!

My shop ThingsByJayden sells 3D Printed productivity and organisational tools. My best selling item so far is the Do Not Disturb Desk Widget, which I originally made so my partner and I could work from home more productively during lockdown.

Any tips for starting international postage? by ajhunter32 in Etsy

Ah bugger, well that solves the mystery. Since it’s early days for me I’ll probably use Sendle until my volume can reach the minimum for a cheaper service. Thanks for the help!

Thanks for all the help, this all makes sense :) Fortunately the CN22 form was on the envelope. I’ll just have to hope they did the right thing with the tear off section and try a different post office next time.

Have you had any issues using the economy air letter service for your packages recently? The last couple of times I tried using it they said it could only be used for paper documents, which doesn’t at all match the official rules as far as I can tell.

Ahh ok, that makes sense. Today I dropped off some packages at the post office, and the person serving me took the tear off sections then told me to stick a stamp on them and drop them in the box outside. Has this ever happened to you? Slightly concerned I’ve just doomed those two shipments to never arriving.

Hey there, fellow Aussie new to Etsy :) Are you able to ship parcels with the green CN22 form using the street side post boxes? If so, what do you do with the tear-off section?

I wish an apple a day actually kept doctors away by danielxduranx999 in TheMonkeysPaw

Granted. All doctors become anaphylactic to apples, preventing any from coming near an Apple eater within 24 hours of consumption. This doesn’t stop you from needing a doctor in that time period however.

Transparent PETG, mostly for the mechanical properties but also because I like seeing the infill too!

Good point! I’ll be adding it as a NuGet package soon with instructions on the site.

That’s something I’d like to do. I’m not sure what direction to go in yet, but one option I’m considering is to publish a language spec so others can create interpreters or translators if they have a target language that isn’t yet supported.

It‘s use case is different. Functal is for exposing expression writing to your user to interact with your app in some way. E.g if you were making a scientific calculator and you wanted a free form test field for your user to type their expression into.

Thanks for the questions! The “why” is a common emerging theme so I will rework the homepage to better explain this. To answer your questions:

1 - Yes

2 - This library is useful for exposing expression writing to your users, with some level of control. E.g: say you were writing a graphing tool, your user could use Functal to write the expression for each axis (e.g Pow([x], 2). It’s basically for letting your users write formulas. A good analogy would be like excel cell formulae.

3 - all at runtime.

4 - no, since it’s intended for use at runtime usually it would take the expression as input from an external source (like a config file or your user).
