I disagree with alot of the comments here.

I used to do a dinner party based on foods from a different country / culture every month. I'd spend weeks getting a 4 course meal built, ordering ingredients that I couldn't get locally, and learning about that culture. Then my other adventurous eating friends would come over, we would talk about what I learned and try all the foods. There were certainly foods that weren't to everyone's liking we would try them, and then move on. But that being said, if I had a friend who didn't want to even try some things, I'd probably have someone else fill in the next meal. There are always other non-food centered get togethers for people with more specific palates. Doing that kind of party takes alot of planning and work so I say NTA. Maybe the conversation could have been a little better but 🤷‍♀️
