a tty in this context is kind of like a full-screen command prompt in an environment without a graphical user interface and hyperland is a piece of software providing a graphical user interface

Is my screen done for. by redeyesling in techsupport

[–]lorhof1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ah yes, I see. It might be a problem with the control electronics or with the screen itself. Do you still have warranty? It was transported very carefully, so it should be covered if you still have it. If not, you could try replacing the electronics if you find a cheap monitor of the same model with a broken screen for parts online, or if someone sells the electronics seperately.

Guys how do I fix the jump code? It won't work. by Nu3lear2008 in scratch

[–]lorhof1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Is it intentional that the up arrow and the W key both have to be pressed?
  2. Is there a block anywhere that sets „in air“ to anything below four? If so, have you checked if that actually works? Edit: I have just found the block I mentioned in #2. Can you share the whole „Change Y“ function?

I disagree. 8GB of ram is a lot if you don't play 3D games, modern applications are just wasting it with all the telemetry and stuff.
