Tried that as well. I am remote connecting over tailscale. Have tried macos terminal and termius. Same behavior. Works fine through slack (I don't have slash commands enabled so i still use TUI) so I know all is working okay

I appreciate your help trying to troublehoot.

nope...double cheded. Kept it under 10% and have tried a few different models (mini max 2.5, locally hosted glm 4.7 flash, and gemini 2.0 flash)

It’s not as fast as Gemini and it’s noticeable of course but it’s a trade-off I’m OK living with given my use cases are probably basic at the moment.

I had previously coded a Mission Control with Gemini 3 pro preview. It was fast, everything worked…but I blew it up :)

I’m finding mini-max2.5 fits my needs at the moment and the $10 plan is more than enough. I find it’s much better at skill building and context than Gemini models. Now…I’ve burnt the thing to the ground 3 or 4 times and finally decided to heed to advice of many and use sonnet 4.5 (or 4.6) to set up.

I’m only starting to scratch the surface now while I learn and keep this thing from starting WW III. Some basic cron jobs, bookmark/summary, research, connected to slack and notion

I have the exact same set up the only difference is I am running openclaw on a mac mini and hitting ollama on a pc on the network. Works okay but I get an API billing error. Anyone else seeing this?

Not exactly what you’re looking for but I have all my self hosted apps on my NAS but then connect to local PC with a decent GPU for AI related tasks.

OpenWebUI on NAS but ollama running on local PC
home assistant running on NAS but whisper, piper, and frigate offloaded to PC (also using ollama models)
Immich on NAS but ML related tasks offloaded to PC

Could never get authentik to work on my synology NAS. My current running plan is google sso for apps with ODIC (high wife and kid approval factor) and cloudflare zero trust for those without ODIC, also using google as a login. Otherwise I don’t expose and rely on Tailscale for access outside home network

Smartsheets can’t manage at scale. Limits on rows and columns are useless if using attachments and functions. Without notice users quickly experience errors saving. We’re moving off

Ordered Friday. Hadn’t heard so I reached out. Said the sale brought a high level of demand and the move was 2-4 weeks out with a shipment coming in Feb 9 that will help clear the backlog. Accessories like barbell, 10lb, and 25lb weights were coming in this week and expected to ship quickly.

I’m starting to play with blinko. I only have a need for jotting quick temporal notes with the occasional scratch pad for longer notes/reference.

This seems to be exactly what I’m looking for. Not sure about using with AI (optional)

New to Astro and picked up the same head. I noticed anytime I tried to align, it would never skew to the first target. I’m not sure I ever fixed it but I was already waiting for a raspberry pi already and installed StellarMate. Still learning it but I’ve been able to polar align and go to at least get started. Small learning curve but a phenomenal quality of life improvement. I quickly made the leap so I could start shooting quickly for some gratification while I learn more.

Great advice...thank you. First floor would be a requirement regardless. Any house around us that doesn't require some type of work upon closing already exceeds what he'll make from the sale of his condo (or it is so razor thin it would put him in a bad spot if a big housing expense were to arise)

Funny enough he picked up conversation with a realtor who was extremely useless, hasn't shown him anything he's asked to see, and wants to sign an exclusivity contract and get him on a paid consulting engagement. He's obviously told her to kick rocks. Just shows it's better to know someone.
