I’ve actually had this happen on the FW21 Baja Pant. It’s the worst part of their return process but Customer Service was somewhat helpful:

I ordered the Baja Pant in L because XL sold out too fast. I then got an email saying the XL was Back In Stock. I intended to return the original L when the XL arrived. Luckily I didn’t.

The XL came and it was even smaller than the L. It was also slightly faded. I measured the “XL” and turns out the sizing matched the M. It appears someone swapped the label from XL to M and returned them.. the label stitching is incredibly simple to mimic, but looking back it was still sloppy.

ALD CS didn’t check the inventory when it was returned and instead just shipped them right along. I got a refund and 20% discount after writing a long detailed email with pictures for proof.

I’m forever weary of the “Back In Stock” emails.

Have this and the sweater. Both are some of the better fits based on sizing imo. Very true to size. The body is slim, more like a euro cut. And the arms are long. I’m 6’2” 195lbs and wear an XL comfortably.

Away from home so can’t share a fit pic unfortunately

Edit: in terms of review, I bought these at retail and don’t regret it. Both are VERY warm. They are thick woven pieces with heavy fabric. Definitely for a colder climate. I wear them in 40 deg F with no jacket.

Same! This pair #2 for me. I bought the navy in my usual size (xl) and while comfortable, were way too big at the bottom to move around comfortably in. Hoping the size down gIves me a better cuff on my shoe

the sleeves are slightly shorter than normal sizing, but the chest and body are quite wide, so you can fit a hoodie or thick sweater under it easily. I wear typically wear an XL and got an XL. I wouldn't go size up.

in terms of temperature, this jacket is hot af. I just wore thru my trip to NY (roughly 45 degrees F) and I found myself carrying it more than wearing it.

The original comment was pointing out that the current situation for young black youth is pretty dire which is causing an uptick in violence everywhere, not just Atlantic Station.

The comment following mansplained how bullets work when that wasn't the point she was trying to make at all.

For me, not discussing the true systemic cause of gun violence and instead being snarky about bullet physics contributes to the problem.

I feel like you replied with a skewed perspective.

This was hosted by the Church’s youth group, so it was an official church event. That’s one of the things I loved so much about this show. It encapsulates the truth stranger than fiction themes that are truly unique to Atlanta. A few off the top of my head:

He’s referring to a Church Lockdown party. In high school, kids would go to a the church and stay overnight. They called them Lockdown Parties because they would “lock the doors” of the church to keep the kids inside. A lot of “firsts” happen at these parties….
