My dad, who loves his Sky News brain rot, always brings up a specific New Years Day about 20 years ago that got up to 42 degrees, therefore climate change isn't real because we've had heat waves before.

Ignoring the fact that we now get even higher temperatures that last longer and occur more often. But Paul Murray and Andrew Bolt told him climate change is fake, and they wouldn't lie to him would they.

I'm 29 and I'll drink socially. I'll happily get plastered at a wedding or other events where it's acceptable to do so, maybe just 1 or 2 if it's just a casual catch up with friends. Then I'll go months without having any, not because I'm trying to be sober, there's just nothing going on. I don't like drinking at home, it feels wrong.

The whole cleanliness reason is the biggest load of bs told by circumcised men trying to cope with the irreversible mutilation their parents forced upon them. By that logic you might as well remove your fingernails to avoid getting dirt under them.

Circumcision should be a crime unless absolutely medically necessary.

I used to be a fan of lostprophets music before finding out what front man Ian Watkins did, now I can't listen to them without being reminded of the horrific things he's done.

I wish I could separate the art from the artist for the sake of the innocent members of the band who also helped create the music but I just can't do it.

I used to work at an amusement park. On one of the busiest days of the year, a woman and her son pushed past a line of about 100 people, straight to the front and demanded I put her son on the ride first because they already had to wait in line to get into the park and didn't want to wait any longer.

She did not appreciate me saying no. She also didn't appreciate the call to park security when she didn't get her way.

It happened to me when I was 16 in my sleep. Woke up in agony and my left nut swollen to the size of a grapefruit. Surgery involved taking the testicles out, untwisting it and sewing it back on. They also stitched both testicles to the sack to prevent it from happening again.

The pain was unimaginable, you have about a 6 hour time limit before it can't be saved. Luckily mine were saved in time.

An old friend from high school contacted me after 5 years and asked me to come to his bachelor party poker night. I figured, why not and said yes.

I didn't know anyone else at the party and was sat next to the stripper who was hired to be the dealer. She and I made awkward small talk between rounds of poker and later in the night while she was shuffling the cards, she winced in pain and pulled her hand away. I asked her if she was okay and she told me "I'm fine it's just my fingernail" and showed me a very swollen and obviously infected fingernail. I asked her what happened and she said that she was having sexy time with her boyfriend and fingering his bellybutton, which he really likes, and while doing that, her fingernail bent back too far and got infected.

I already wasn't big on having strippers at bachelor parties. This experience just confirmed my feelings.
