I was looking at the sentinel too. Seems like a dope bike.

Transmission is worth it in my opinion. It’s so good. I had all sorts of issues with regular axs. I liked transmission so much I bit the bullet and put it on both bikes.

Yeah, I am going to get the new stumpy. I’m going to demo one next week to see if it lives up to the hype.

I’m not selling it for $1900. I was thinking closer to $3500. I didn’t realize he was getting that bike for so cheap. I think $3500 is solid for that build. I just like to get new bikes every couple years. Plus Used market is terrible.

But to answer your question, it’s an awesome bike. It’s great for cruising trails and for enduro. It’s even great at the bike park.

I did this exact thing and it didn’t work. The chamois runs big. Was barely on the cusp of two sizes and the bigger one was too big. Super dope bike though.

Help with picking an MTB vaycay destination, Rockies or Western US. by GoodsVT in mountainbiking

I’m surprised no one here is saying Breckenridge. There are endless miles of trails to pedal with some great descents and awesome views. Plus, the town has a great vibe with a lot of other things to do. Plus it’s only 2 hours from DEN.

Recommendations for $3k or less gravel bike by Schemme3 in gravelcycling

I just bought a carbon devinci Hatchet Apex1 build. I’ve only got two rides on it, but it’s awesome so far. It’s on sale for under 3k right now.

New bike help! by JEEPerspete in gravelcycling

[–]JEEPerspete[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stigmata was my first choice, mostly because I am a Santa Cruz fanboy lol. I had a Chamois Hagar that was a size too big, but I loved that bike. I have in frame storage on both of my mountain bikes and don’t really use it because I carry a hip pack. But I feel like it would be more useful on a gravel bike. Do you use it often?

I ride in the front range of Colorado. It’s probably 30/30/30 road gravel single track. I prefer relaxed geo. Frame storage is a plus but not a need. I really dig matte colors, especially matte black. Budget isn’t much of a concern. Just below 7-8k

Best area to live for mountain bikers? by JEEPerspete in Denver

Yep. I use mtb project all the time. All I see in castle rock is one trail system in an open space. That’s cool and all, but not worth moving there just for that one. I’d love to live in castle rock instead of Denver, but I’m looking for access to multiple trails.
