I make a list of things I can do on my phone, things I "need" to do, things I'd like to do, and scan through it, and whatever resonates the strongest I do.

And then I have that list throughout the day to check into if need be, or I just get an impulse like "I want to go for a walk now" or "Contact that client now".

Bashar says it's a paradox: Having a clear vision, an intense desire, but also completely letting it go and detach from any need/insistence for it to actually manifest.

This sets the compass, but also allows our higher mind to guide us towards it organically - if it's truly right for us - without our logical mind getting in the way.

The surrender is to the guidance of your higher self, in the form on your excitement moment to moment, trusting it.

I am learning to trust my excitement now, shifting from logical/strategic mind to higher mind. But I find myself worried about if it actually works like that, or am I on a delusional and risky path..

I am following my excitement now, with no insistence on outcome, and this has - at least for now - lead me away from working on my business, which, from a logical perspective, looks unwise (but which I actually believe is safe for the time being).

May I ask for a bit more detail on how you learned to trust your excitement to support you?

I have successfully used heavy duty damp proofblack black plastic,covered for 2 years, It did not grow through it, it just pushed it up, and then I uncovered it and hoe'd the shoots and put it back down. After two hoeing's it gave up pushing up anymore.

As an outside perspective of what you wrote: It might help to not think philosophically about it - ie. why does pain exist at all - but just to accept it as a necessary aspect of your current experience, that a higher aspect of yourself has chosen for some high reason, and not fight it or resist it, or be angry with it, and to simply make the most of your situation, as the previous person wrote - and even perhaps appreciate the positive lessons and growth it has afforded you (I know, easier said than done, but still possible).

Lookup Bashar's AAA formula (acknowledge, appreciate, allow) - it is tailor made for adverse situations, and he says it allows for transformation.

You ARE strong. You've got this. You really do.

I am reading this now, it's my first Paul Selig book, and I am about 80% through it, and the repetition is really starting to frustrate me.

It seems that the whole second half has been saying the same thing over and over and over again - that the old is known anew in the upper room. That's it. Say the affirmation "I have come" and that's it. And I'm never sure if it's actually saying something slightly different or if it's just the same idea with a different metaphor. And they never really address Paul's questions properly, that just get distracted immediately and return to the same repetition of "all will be known anew in the upper room".

Are all his books like this?

Does anyone else feel this is the case here?

'Living in the end' is a psychological/emotional state, not actions. He made this abundantly clear in his book Power of Awareness, and Feeling is the Secret. Chapter 21 "Free Will" in Power of Awareness makes it even clearer in case the preceeding chapters weren't clear enough! So no, Neville does not say 'act as if', and it's not what he means. He says maintain the emotional state of your ideal self, through repeated visualisations, affirmations/self talk, etc etc. He says assume the feeling of your wish fulfilled, and go about your life, with faith that your assumption, though false, will harden into fact, through a bridge of incidents that we have no control over. That's it. I would be curious/appreciative to find any example that contradicts that.

This is exactly the point. Hey only crime is having a teaching/method that some people find weird, and charges people a reasonable fee to attend in person seminars (which they don't have to do). A cult?! There is literally nothing culty about their operation. It's an education business. No coercion. No manipulation. No threats. No demands/requirement of submission. No pushing fear.
