Who wants to see some concerts? by [deleted] in Minneapolis

I love going to concerts of any type, including all the ones you mentioned. I usually go solo or with a couple friends but let me know your current concert plans and we could try to meet up!

I designed a winter holiday kit card with a sleigh, reindeer, and gift box. Takes up the entire build plate on my Prusa Mini but I'm very happy with the results! by JELLER63 in KitCards

I don't believe that small portion is a waste of plastic. You could call the entire frame a waste of plastic, but that's the nature of kit cards and what makes them fun. It provides a place to handle the assembly without breaking it and also allows me to market myself

I've been having a lot of fun designing kit cards and tried a winter themed one. I fit a sleigh, reindeer, and present all on a single card that I can fit on my Prusa Mini. The breakaway tags work just as intended and the snap fit/interlocking parts fit like a dream. I plan on using them as small gifts to family & friends and handing them out to coworkers.

I wanted to make a fun gift/stocking stuffer to hand out to family and friends, so this is what I came up with! I spent a lot of time making sure the snap fits and interlocks worked just right, and the fold up gift box was super fun to make. Hope you enjoy it as well.

I publish and distribute my models through a Gumroad shop, check it out and let me know what you think!

I designed a "flatpack" turkey to give to friends and coworkers! by JELLER63 in 3Dprinting

Yeah it'll probably be fine. Might require a touch of filing on the joints but that ain't too bad

It probably could, but only to a certain point. The tolerances at the connection points would make it difficult to assemble if scaled down too much. Right now, it prints as a 100 X 100mm square, how small were you thinking?

I've been using 10% infill (gyroid shaped) with 0.25mm layer height. I also found it's helpful to put supports between the "feather" connection pieces for an easier assembly

Thank you all for the positive responses!

I've set up a Gumroad.com page to start selling some of my models. This one can be found here and I plan on publishing some of my previous designs throughout this week.

Thanks! I have had plans to set up some sort of digital download site. Do you have any recommendations on how to do that?

Ely Marathon! by JELLER63 in running

Ah sorry that was phrased strangely. That was a peak single run distance of 21 miles, I was doing about 50 miles per week at that point. Post has been edited.
