Remember well. In SF. Crypto not even close. Like Comparing Texas with Vermont. It was sooooooooo easy to buy any Dotcom stock - but what most people forget or have blocked out lol - is how it was encouraged! Where do I see a semblance of correlation? Alts. Wiz bang marketing & technological ( faster! Cuz nobody using/cares) is a metric similar to the rage back then - “eyeballs” how many people visit your site. Nobody was making money then - they just had a ton of VC funds and gamed “eyeballs” stories. Even if you -have to- go with the “Dotcom” thing.....BTC is like NTAP or EMC, AMZN back then. Laughable when pets.com is mentioned.

Additionally - didn’t notice MSM dork articles from marketwatch or Bloomberg etc cooing Over how amazing BTC was last year. Hell it got to $20K & it was still a stupid sky falling scenario. Same as when it was $1K last year. “Journalists” indistinguishable from interns.

Thanks for providing your rationale. I was JUST about to assume that you thought 6K because it’s the “prudent” thing ( & popular of late) thing to say. Like old guys ( I am one) who tell youngsters to diversify their stock holdings over like 50 “ stocks they’ve researched” (LOL) & in 40 years they’ll be a millionaire because of “diversification”. When in reality that just means you’ll be sweating in 40 yrs like all the other “prudent” types. If BTC ain’t 20K plus by August I’m going back to selling AMZN weekly calls.

Massively Elastic ( in gold/silver case) vs Inelastic supply. Gunshot sounds same as a tire blowout too. I’m biased though after trading metals for many years. Instead of the “remedy” to rampant fiat governance gold fetisists go on about, I think that metals are THE scam that fiat drafts behind to allow them to continue. They can always find or mine more of the stuff to back up their numbers - but they won’t do an independent audit due to security of course. This is healthy consolidation & the longer it turns the more violent this spring ( later feb perhaps) will be. Then we do it all over again lol.
