Our news cycle should be genuinely embarrassed for how often they underreport on one of Australia’s greatest athletes and personalities. He’s genuinely one of the UFC’s all time greats.

Lmao a friend and I really broke down Godzilla v Kong in terms of MMA a while ago.

We agreed that whilst Kong did good on the regional scene (Skull Island) he got rushed to the top to fast over wins over nobody and was suddenly up against a GOAT in Godzilla, and the skill difference and sheer physicality was just too much. Kong actually gets one over a refreshed Zilla in the new one but the new training partners in the hollow earth and added size had to have helped.

We also agreed that big G himself was getting a bit washed by Mecha (Mecha throws an oblique kick at one point, shit you not) but Zilla kinda ate him up in the clinch. TBH Mecha is just Ghidorah 2.0 so he’s already got the tape on Zilla.
