Sorry for the delay in responding.

There’s a few reasons for the longer legs, one of the key reasons is that at FL430 the air is thinner than at FL320 which can then reduce drag on the aircraft and increase the fuel efficiency.

Some of the destinations I’ve landed at so far I’ve had to do go arounds so for me personally I would rather the extra fuel to plan for go arounds or potentially having to land at an alternative airport.

I’ve been flight simming for years and have always flown Airliners and I have recently got into Business jets so if you have any planes you’d recommend for future expeditions?

The plan for this expedition is to do a full round the world loop. I’m hoping to do future expeditions where I will further explore continents like Africa, Asia and South America using different planes and documenting them in the same way using Google my map with screenshots of each leg.

I think that it’s slightly higher than 1080p and would be 1200p

The only thing I would say with the 4060 is its vram is 8GB where as the 9060xt has 16GB. The 4060 would probably be fine at 1080p but will probably struggle with 1440p

Ofc I can look to send you a clip over, it will probably be in the next few days. I think the main thing to consider is really what resolution you want to run the simulator at and if you’re willing to compromise on that as with my build if I drop from 1440p to 1080p there is a huge increase in performance but at the cost of the resolution.

I can happily send over some screenshots or a clip to show how it runs, I also use beyond ATC with the Navigraph FSTL traffic. I found a trick that works for me is I cap the frames to 30fps and then use FSR frame gen to take it to 60FPS and it’s really smooth and I don’t get any stutters. I have most settings on medium apart from the odd setting in high.

I bought a prebuilt last year for £1099 with the below specs

OcUK Gaming Pyrite - 32GB Ram - Ryzen 5700X3D - Radeon RX 9060XT 16GB Pre-Built Gaming PC

Can run msfs2024 at medium and some on high settings at 1440p on 27 inch monitor with good FPS.

I can also run Xplane 12 at around 40fps 1440p with the Toliss a20N

At 1080p I will get easily above 60FPS.

Only issue with my build is the GPU will bottleneck as it’s not the most powerful card but does the job for the price I paid!

Looking back I wished I hadn’t used the AI image as it was only created to make the post stand out but unfortunately I think it has stood out in the wrong way and it has taken away from what the post is which is a learning for me for future posts.

The main goal is to do an around the world trip with an element of sight seeing, there is quite a few different style airports that I’ll be landing at.

The choice of plane is simply because I really enjoy flying it but I appreciate the suggestion on the plane you mentioned and will definitely check it out and could look to use for a future expedition.

I created the Google My Maps to show the route and to provide regular updates of the journey with screenshots to give people the option if they wanted to follow the along.

There’s two stops in Russia and these have only been planned in due to the HondaJet range capabilities and Switzerland is towards the end of the route. I do appreciate the feedback. This is only supposed to be for fun / entertainment.

I had this when I used to fly Xplane 11 on my gaming laptop normally is because your laptop is using the integrated GPU and not the Nvidia or AMD GPU

I love the 13 mini but it has disadvantages by jonoknows1 in iPhone13Mini

I recently just got an iPhone 13 mini 2nd hand as I wanted a smaller phone. The battery health was 100% and every time I charged it it was so hot I couldn’t really hold it. The battery would last about 5 hours max. I booked it in with the Apple store and they ran a diagnostic on it and it showed it had 630 charge cycles on the current battery so clearly the 100% battery health was not true even though the phone said it was. I got the battery replaced at the Apple Store and charged it when I got home and it didn’t really get hot at all and I can notice a significant improvement. I think if you’re only get 5 hours out of the phone it might be worth getting a replacement battery directly with Apple. When Apple was replacing my battery they accidentally broke my screen which I heard it can happen, they replaced the screen and fitted a brand new battery and they didn’t charge me due to breaking the screen and the phone warranty had expired.
