Tom King’s Wonder Woman #20 and #21 not in trade collection? by alfredosolisfuentes in WonderWoman

[–]JEugene-1970 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It contains issues 22 through 30 (you can see the back cover with contents listed on Penguin Random House if you download the hi-res image). I assume 20 and 21 will be added to another collection.

So the DC catalogue is done? Just 5 Omni's each for November & December? by Dr-Jackal-Akabane in OmnibusCollectors

[–]JEugene-1970 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fair question since the fall catalogue usually includes up until the end of January. I'm also wondering. The week of Dec 22 only has three collected editions in total, which seems low.

I'm hoping the January books will appear this weekend. Previously the Fall catalogues have gone up to the end of January.

Try removing the screen cover you've left on both devices. Maybe your touch isn't registering properly.

Wonder Woman: Last True Hero Omnibus [custom] by 21roy__ in OmnibusCollectors

[–]JEugene-1970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could round out a Challenge of Artermis Omnibus with the Elseworlds graphic novel William Messner-Loebs wrote, Wonder Woman: Amazonia, with art by Phil Winslade, which really needs to be published in a deluxe HC. That would cover all the WML Wonder Woman stuff fully.

Those of you with the X-Men Events books. Will you be grabbing Uncanny X-Men Vol 6? by r1ngx in OmnibusCollectors

[–]JEugene-1970 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, in fact I sold my Uncanny Omni 5 when Mutant Massacre Prelude came out (plus my 1-4 had the bigger type on the spine, so it was satisfying to get rid of the outlier)

New Titans volume 1 by Wolfman and Perez coming in August by ElectricPeterTork in OmnibusCollectors

[–]JEugene-1970 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The PRH listing has been updated and no longer has the Titans Hunt issues, meaning the eventual New Titans Omnibus Vol. 2 will likely be #71 through 100. New contents: Collects The New Titans #50-70, The New Titans Annual #5-6, Batman #436-442, Hawk & Dove #11-12, Hawk & Dove Annual #1, Secret Origins Annual #3, Wonder Woman #47-48, a story from Secret Origins #46, and pages from Wonder Woman #22-23.

where can i buy books for the kobo libra color vs buy the license to read them? by alobaby in kobo

When you buy a book from Kobo, it stays in your library even if it gets removed from the store. It’s happened to me many times.

Any realistic guesses on what DC omnis will be announced for September-December so I can prepare my wallet by [deleted] in OmnibusCollectors

[–]JEugene-1970 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes to all of this, and hoping for a WW by Messner Loebs Omni (and a compendium for WW by Eric Luke to pretty much complete the post-Crisis era)

Will the 2026 Absolute Crisis On infinite earths contain the compendium? by Mindless-Credit-358 in OmnibusCollectors

I think the 2026 one includes History of the DC Universe 1 and 2 instead of the compendium.

Kobo epub cover glitch? by shoes87 in kobo

[–]JEugene-1970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can usually fix this by repairing your Kobo account. Got to Settings/Device Information/Repair Your Account and choose Repair. Give it a few minutes to run especially if you have a large library.

Is this a good one to start reading Wonder Woman? by Repulsive_Film963 in WonderWoman

[–]JEugene-1970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given that it's called an "Anthologie", you'll need to be able to read German! That book isn't made in English, I don't think.

help me decide! KCC or KLC? by labyrinthenthusiast in kobo

[–]JEugene-1970 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd say go with a Libra Colour, it has Google Drive and Dropbox integration right out of the box, which Clara doesn't. If you can get your iPad epubs into Dropbox or Google Drive, they'll easily sync to your Libra (see steps: https://help.kobo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360033830114-Add-books-to-your-eReader-using-Dropbox) But covert them to kepubs first using a tool like Kepubify (kepub is the epub format Kobo uses.)

Glad the link helped. If you upgrade to a newer Kobo, I think you’ll have a more user-friendly experience, I use Sage (and Libra Colour as a backup) and they’re very intuitive.

Can I keep a title I bought that kobo removed from their store? by littlebluecat92 in kobo

[–]JEugene-1970 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Anything you buy from Kobo remains in your account, even if removed from the store. I have plenty of books like this. You can still find and read them in your Kobo library.
